We collect the following information when you use Lesson Hollow:

  • Guide accounts: Email address, name, password, and timezone.
  • Player accounts: Username, name, and password. Player accounts are created by guides and do not require an email address.
  • Payment information: When guides purchase credits, payment is processed by a third-party provider. We store transaction records but do not store credit card numbers or bank details.
  • Curriculum and progress data: Curriculums, tasks, enrollments, completion records, time tracking, notes, and activity logs created through normal use of the platform.
  • Generated content: AI-generated rewards (songs and images) created through the platform.
  • API keys: If you connect third-party services, we store your API keys in encrypted form.
  • Web analytics: We collect anonymous usage data such as page views and device type to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Lesson Hollow service.
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • Process payments and maintain credit balances.
  • Generate AI-powered rewards using third-party services.
  • Improve the service through aggregated, anonymous analytics.
  • Communicate with you about your account when necessary.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with third-party services only as necessary to operate the platform (for example, payment processing, AI content generation, and authentication). These services receive only the data required to perform their function.

Curriculums you choose to publish are visible to other Lesson Hollow users through the Discover feature. Unpublished curriculums remain private to your account.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, and role-based access controls that ensure guides can only access their own players and data.

5. Children's Privacy

Player accounts are created and managed by guides (parents, teachers, or other responsible adults). Guides provide consent on behalf of any minors they add as players. Player accounts do not collect email addresses and are accessible only through the guide's account or through a username and password set by the guide.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Guides can delete their account and all associated player accounts from their account page. When a guide account is deleted, all player sub-accounts and their data are permanently removed.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
